Career
Before he became a Nickelodeon star, Drake Bell went to OCSA for school, but he ended up not finishing and received his GED.
His acting career started when he was only five, and he was encouraged by his father, who had attempted to get him into sports.
When Little League didn’t work out, Bell’s gift for public speaking caused his dad to nudge him towards working in front of the camera.
His first appearance was in a 1994 episode of Home Improvement, followed by a role alongside Tom Cruise in the film Jerry Maguire.

A Fall From Grace
Drake Bell enjoyed a solid career in film, TV, and music until 2021 when he was arrested in Ohio on attempted child endangerment charges.
Police had found that Bell had been sending inappropriate messages to a 15-year-old when he was 31 years old at the time.
Bell ended up pleading guilty, and in July his accuser, then 19, stated he had sexually assaulted her when she was underage.
He was sentenced to two years of probation and 200 hours of community service, which he was permitted to complete in California.

During the making of a music video, which also featured rapper 42 Dugg, two men were shot and another man injured.
The injured man was hurt by debris as terrified crew and bystanders took cover on the Atlanta steelyard set.
Witness Teresa Lakes, who was working on the set as medic to take temperatures and screen anyone who entered for Covid, told the station about the panic that ensued after shots rang out.
She recalled: “Everyone started running, trying to get out. Or take cover, lot of places to take cover in there.
«Anyone that was injured, I laid hands on ‘em to make sure they were OK. Just glad it wasn’t a lot worse then it could have been…could have been worse.”

What was the cause of the shooting at Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg’s music video?
It’s easy to think that a shooting at a rap music video would automatically point to the artists. However, this is not the case — especially since both Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg were not at the scene of the crime.
That said, the authorities have their work cut out for them. A witness shared that gunshots erupted out of nowhere.
“Everyone started running, trying to get out,” witness Teresa Lakes shared. “Or take cover, there are a lot of places to take cover in there.»

Teresa was on the set working as a medic to take temperatures and screen anyone who entered for COVID-19.
“Anyone that was injured, I laid hands on ‘em to make sure they were OK,” she said. “Just glad it wasn’t a lot worse than it could have been.”
The site reports that investigators are still working to gather information on the suspects involved in the shooting. Both Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg have shared that they had nothing to do with the events that transpired.
Was 42 Dugg shot?
Dugg (Dion Hayes), 26, appeared to confirm that neither he or Roddy (Rodrick Moore Jr.) were hurt and were not on the set at the time of the shooting.
He went on Instagram Live with Lil Baby and definitively stated: “Y’all stop with that fake s***, man. We ain’t been around no gun shooting, none of that.”
This is not the first time Roddy has been close to violence concerning his music, as three people were stabbed when violence erupted at a gig in London in 2019.
This new project marks the second time the rappers have worked together, as they previously collaborated on the single Grace in 2020, which peaked in the top 50 on the Hot 100 list.

What have Atlanta Police said?
Cops say they responded to shots fired at the yard on Wells Street in the southwest of the city around 4 pm, WSB reports.
Police say the men shot, named Antoine Blake, 25, and Vernon Moulder, 29, drove themselves to Grady Memorial Hospital, though their condition is currently unknown.
The third man who received injuries was treated by paramedics.
WSB also reports that one man was seen being put into the back of a police car while a 40-year-old man was arrested for drug possession but is not a shooting suspect.
Sources share that Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg were not harmed during the shooting.

It’s reported that officers responded to the sound of shots fired at a scrap yard where the video was being made. “Officers arrived on the scene around 4 p.m. to find an injured man who had reportedly been grazed by the gunfire,” the site reports.

Two other men, Antoine Blake, 25, and Vernon Moulder, 29, were shot during the same incident and took themselves to Grady Memorial Hospital,” WSB-TV Atlanta reports. “Atlanta police said both men are stable.”
Thankfully, both of the rappers are OK. In an Instagram Live, 42 Dugg confirmed that both he and “The Box” rapper escaped unscathed.

According to Roddy Ricch’s friend DJ A-Tron, the rapper is also safe and unharmed. «My n—a Roddy good, all the homies good,» he shared on Twitter.
