Вы уже обратили внимание, что септаккорд состоит из терций, а каждое его обращение включает в себя еще один интервал – секунду. От того где располагается секунда – в основании, в центре или в вершине – зависит фонизм аккорда
Упражнения
Упражнение № 1
Строить септаккорды от белых клавиш. В идеале, это нужно научиться делать с закрытыми глазами – наша цель дать руке привыкнуть к этим позициям.

Выбираем септаккорд и выполняем его обращение. Пусть сначала это будет получаться медленно, не переживайте – скорость дело наживное. Выполняйте обращение вверх и вниз:

Выберите одно обращение септаккорда, зафиксируйте руку в таком положении и попробуйте перемещать ее по клавиатуре, играя этот аккорд от разных нот:
То же самое проделайте с остальными обращениями септаккорда. Задача все та же – добиться механической памяти в руке, чтобы пальцы быстро вставали на свои места и это получалось автоматически, без вашего участия.
Когда ваши пальцы привыкнут ко всем модификациям септаккорда, можно пробовать внедрять септы в игру. На примере популярных песен попробуем проделать этот трюк.
Популярные связки аккордов
Когда вы начнете использовать септаккорды в своей игре, вы обнаружите, что не каждый аккорд сочетается с предыдущим одинаково хорошо. Иногда, это будет зависеть от того, какие обращения вы сочетаете друг с другом, а иногда от того, как правильно вами выбран аккорд. Поэтому внедрять септаккорды лучше по одному, слушая что получается.
Возьмем популярную цепочку аккордов, или как выражаются музыканты — гармоническую последовательность, и украсим ее септаккордом.
Наша тональность Ре минор. Связка простая: Тоника => Субдоминанта => Доминанта => Тоника. Можно играть эти аккорды тоническими трезвучиями, но это не очень удобно и требует постоянного зрительного контроля:
Мы учились обращать аккорды, так давайте применять это умение:
А теперь тонику (аккорд Ре минор) превратим в септаккорд и каждый раз, когда мы будем его встречать, будем играть Ре минорный септаккорд или его обращение:
Аккорды под номером 1 и 4 — это аккорды, выполняющие одну и ту же тоническую функцию. Но первый аккорд – септаккорд, а четвертый – его обращение. Это сделано не спроста – такое обращение четвертого аккорда звучит наиболее приятно, логично. Если проследить мелодическую линию по верхнему голосу, то мы увидим, что от ноты До к ноте Ля мелодия движется поступенно, без скачков.
Отлично! давайте попробуем сразу субдоминанту (аккорд Соль минор) и доминанту (аккорд Ля мажор) превратить в септаккорды и посмотрим, что из этого получится. Не забываем использовать обращения, играем так, чтобы все было под пальцами, удобно:

1. Nothing Else Matters
To begin with, we have this track which is a beautiful and iconic ballad that showcases the band’s versatility and songwriting prowess.
Included in their emblematic 1991 self-titled album (also known as The Black Album), this song is one of the best-known pieces of the band.
The song’s intro starts with an arpeggio and revolves around a few simple fingerpicked lines including hammer-ons, pull-offs, and harmonics.
The pattern of this section relies on plucking the root notes in the lower strings with your thumb.
After that mellow introduction, the verse section is played using the chords Em, G, C9, D, and B7.
The guitar plays an arpeggio in open Em followed by a strummed D, a C9, and finishes with a descending fill that leads you to the Em again.
That pattern continues three times and then plays an arpeggiated G and a B7. You can strum them and it sounds nice as well.
The chorus consists of some open chords: C – A – D – Em. The two first chords, C and A, are strummed just once, and while playing D it varies between Dsus2 and Dsus4.
That progression is played twice and on the third time finishes with an open Em. What comes next is the interlude, a picked slow section featuring two guitars that connects this part with the next one.
Up to this point, the song is almost completed, the only section that lasts is the solo.
If you intend to learn Metallica songs, get used to playing solos because they are everywhere but in this case is not so hard.
The solo involves some bendings and hammer-ons but as it is quite slow I bet you can master it after some time playing it.
To finish the track, you must play the intro’s first part again.

The distorted bass intro on “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” crafted by Cliff Burton, predates his tenure with Metallica. Burton played this riff with his former band, Agents of Misfortune, during a live ‘battle of the bands’ performance. This band also featured Jim Martin, who later became a part of Faith No More. The song draws inspiration from Ernest Hemingway’s novel of the same name. It made a brief appearance in the Plan B skateboarding video, “Virtual Reality,” from the early 90s.
“Ride the Lightning,” Metallica’s second studio album, holds a special significance for many fans, including myself. It boasts tracks like “Creeping Death,” “Trapped Under Ice,” “Fight Fire with Fire,” and “For Whom the Bell Tolls.” There really never is a dull moment in this album.

Nothing Else Matters на гитаре проще играть пальцами. Песня хороша тем, что совмещает в себе много приёмов, которые будут полезны для развития техники. Большая часть песни играется арпеджио. Первые такты играются let ring – ничего не глушим. Правая рука располагается по струнам: безымянный на 1, средний на 2, указательный на 1 струне.
В 5 такте встречается pull-off, который нужно сыграть одновременно с открытой 2 (7 лад зажать безымянным). Ход 7-0 – 8-0 можно сыграть безым. – мизинцем. Ими же извлекаем hammer-on (удар с 7 на 8 лад, при этом 8 срываем миз.-ем) и делаем безым. слайд с 8 на 5.
Далее опять срывом играем пулл-офф 5-3 и слайд до 2. Миз-ем 5 л. на 2 струне. В 8 такте струны на 5 л. желательно зажать без-ым и миз-ем (держим на протяжении всего такта). Нужно дотянуться до 2 л. и сорвать пулл-оффом на открытую первую, затем вернуться и доиграть перебор 5-5.

Далее идёт совмещение уже знакомых перебора, pull-off и щипка в одном такте. В следующем такте сложный момент – подряд hummer и pull 0-5-0. Играем открытую, затем ударяем указательным левой руки по 5 л. и срываем. На второй струне пулл 7-0, хаммер 0-5.
В 12 такте извлекаем флажолеты над 12 ладом. В 16 такте ставим аккорд Em в седьмой позиции. Большим пальцем дёргаем басовые струны. Быстрый перебор (5-4-3) играем указ-сред-без, а затем делаем щипок сред. и без. Потом идут D (5 позиция) и C (3). 22 такт – G (3), B7 (2).
В куплете прибавляется игра мелодии
Обратите внимание, что в треке используется вальсовый ритм, поэтому необходимо играть плавно и соблюдая трёхдольную пульсацию. В 26 такте ставим неполный мизинец и безымянный на 3 лад
Второй лад играем средним. Это будет удобно при постановке среднего на 3 лад пятой струны.
28 такт играем мелодию указ-ным (2) и средним (3 л.), пулл 2-0 тоже сыграем ук-ым. В 31 такте пользуемся позицией обычного аккорда G. За ним идёт неполный B7. Если вы хорошо разберёте предложенные фрагменты, то далее не должно возникнуть проблем, так как там идёт повторение. В 51 т. дёргаем C и A.
Далее идёт аккордовая прогрессия. В середине такта присутствует синкопа – ритм смещается. Рекомендуем разобрать отдельно половины такта. Сначала играем D, а во второй половине быстро меняем D4-D-D9. The song’s history is interesting, considering Dave Mustaine’s involvement and subsequent departure from the band. His refusal to relinquish the song led to its reincarnation as “Mechanix” by Megadeth. This song is different lyrically but very similar musically.
“The Four Horsemen” encapsulates Metallica’s raw energy and ambition. To promote “Kill ‘Em All” (the album featuring this song), they toured America with Raven, a contemporaneous early metal band. The album’s release on Megaforce Records was just the start of Metallica’s ascent to metal royalty. If you’re looking for easy Metallica guitar songs, this is one of my top recommendations.

“Escape” is a criminally underrated track from Metallica’s “Ride the Lightning” album. Despite its captivating riffs, intriguing chord progressions, and memorable vocal melodies, the song is rarely (if ever) played live. James Hetfield’s reported dislike of the track might be a reason, but for many fans, it’s a favorite. The fact that it was written in the studio proves the band’s exceptional creativity. It’s been covered by hardcore legends Hatebreed and French metal luminaries Gojira.
Around this period, John Bush, known for his work with Armored Saint and Anthrax, declined an offer to join the band. Apparently, James Hetfield wanted to focus on rhythm guitar. But thanks to John Bush turning the offer down, we get to hear great Hetfield performances like this one. When students ask me for easy metal guitar songs to practice, this is one I often recommend to them.
